Successfully Connecting Theory and Methods in the Thesis
- 03.07.2024 – 03.07.2024
- 14:00 Clock
- Bremen • Linzer • Room LINZ 60070
We are pleased to invite you to our workshop “Successfully Connecting Theory and Methods in the Thesis.” Learn from Prof. Andreas Hepp, Prof. Christian Schwarzenegger and Prof. Stephanie Geise how to effectively integrate theoretical and methodological approaches in your thesis.
The workshop is about reflecting on how theoretical work and empirical research can be related to each other in a successful way in the dissertation. At the beginning of the workshop, the two “models” of theory-testing and theory-building research will be presented as input. Based on this, a discussion round will take place in which the challenges in the individual dissertation projects will be discussed. This will then serve as a basis for jointly developing strategies for dealing with them.
