The book series is edited by Prof. Dr. Winfried Pauleit and is published by Schüren Verlag.
Bremer Schriften, published by Schüren Verlag, Marburg, brings together research findings, current positions and innovative methods from the field of film education. The aim of the series is to bring the institutions of cinema and school, cinema, museum and archive into conversation with each other. This encounter aims to create synergy effects. Film education can be a source of inspiration for learning in schools as well as in other places. Together, cinema and school, but also cinema and museum, can become spaces of experience, but also provide the means to shape and change society. The Bremer Schriften focus both on explicit research work on film education and on film and media studies research approaches that open up perspectives for the education of film and media, as well as research from the field of education with a specific interest in film and cinema.
