On September 5, 2026, ZeMKI member Dr. Leif Kramp will participate as a speaker at the DJV Digital Conference “Besser Online” (“Better Online”) at Radio Bremen. This year’s event is themed “Souverän. Menschlich. Vernetzt.” (“Sovereign. Human. Connected.”) and will address current challenges in digital journalism, including digital sovereignty, artificial intelligence, and new forms of journalistic collaboration.
At 12:15 p.m., Kramp will join taz Managing Director Andreas Marggraf on the panel “Print Only on Weekends? Was the taz’s ‘Page Turn’ Worth It?” to discuss experiences after nearly a year without a printed taz on weekdays. The discussion will focus on the consequences of the changed publication model and the question of what this transformation means for journalism, the publishing house, and the self-image of a daily newspaper. The discussion will be moderated by Thomas Mrazek from the DJV Federal Expert Committee on Online Media.
The conference will take place at Radio Bremen’s event studio in Bremen and will feature presentations, discussions, and workshops on developments in digital journalism.
