ZeMKI member Dr. Stephanie Seul will give a lecture entitled “Writing Women into the Historical Narrative of War Reporting: Avis Waterman, “The Times” Correspondent on the Italian Front During the First World War” at the conference “Rethinking Our Communicative Pasts: Reparatory and Radical Perspectives” at Loughborough University in London on April 26, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm.
The conference will be framed as a two-day workshop at the Loughborough University campus on April 25-26, 2024, to which over 25 emerging researchers have been invited.
The aim of the workshop is to discuss how historical and archival research can be used for a comprehensive and inclusive study of culture, media and communication that challenges Western-oriented (and masculinist-influenced) epistemology.
