This year’s conference of the DGPuK Media Sports and Sports Communication specialist group took place in Stuttgart from September 20 to 22, 2023. The prize for the best institution was awarded for the ninth time. This year it went to a ZeMKI team. The winners were ZeMKI BA graduate Mirko Vopalensky and ZeMKI member Dr. Philip Sinner. The title of their contribution was “Social media at the grassroots of soccer. A social media offer structure analysis of the communication repertoires of amateur football clubs in the Bremen League and a qualitative in-depth analysis of the motives and objectives of the use of social media in club communication” .
